2009

  • 74 FR 34701, July 17, 2009. Final rule to implement Amendments 62/62 and increase the number of times per year that an American Fisheries Act (AFA) stationary floating processor (SFP) may move within State of Alaska waters in the Bering Sea subarea to process pollock. Effective August 17, 2009.

2004

  • 69 FR 7876, February 20, 2004. Final rule to make effective the collection of information contained in the following American Fisheries Act (AFA) related amendments: Amendment 61 to the FMP for the Groundfish Fishery of the BSAI Area, Amendment 61 to the FMP for Groundfish of the GOA, Amendment 13 to the FMP for BSAI King and Tanner Crab, and Amendment 8 to the FMP for the Scallop Fishery off Alaska.
  • 69 FR 6198, February 10, 2004. Final rule to remove the expiration date of regulations (67 FR 79692, December 30, 2002), implementing the American Fisheries Act (AFA).

2003

  • 68 FR 6833, February 11, 2003. BSAI Amendment 69 to allow an American Fisheries Act (AFA) inshore cooperative to contract with a non-member vessel to harvest a portion of the cooperative's pollock allocation.
  • 68 FR 17314, April 9, 2003. Correction to a cross reference error in 67 FR 79692 for American Fisheries Act (AFA) amendments 61/61/13/8 which incorporate the AFA into four FMPs and their implementing regulations(December 30, 2002).

  • 66 FR 7327, January 22, 2001. Emergency interim rule to revise regulations to implement certain provisions of the American Fisheries Act (AFA). Effective January 18, 2001 through July 17, 2001.
  • 66 FR 26808, May 15, 2001. Correction to 66 FR 7327, the emergency interim rule that revised certain provisions of the American Fisheries Act (AFA) for implementation for the 2001 fishing year, which was published January 22, 2001.
  • 66 FR 35911, July 10, 2001. Extension of 66 FR 7327 for the emergency interim rule, as corrected for an additional 180 days, through January 14, 2002, to maintain requirements of the American Fisheries Act (AFA) through January 14, 2002. Comment period through August 9, 2001.

2000

  • 65 FR 380, January 5, 2000. Emergency Interim Rule implementing permit requirements for vessels, processors, and cooperatives wishing to participate in the BSAI pollock fishery under the American Fisheries Act (AFA). Effective December 30, 1999.
  • 65 FR 4520, January 28, 2000. Emergency Interim Rule to implement a TAC allocation formula for BSAI pollock among the CDQ program and the inshore, catcher/processor, and mothership sectors; new R&R requirements; new observer coverage and scale requirements; new regulations for American Fisheries Act (AFA) pollock cooperatives; harvesting restrictions; and crab processing restrictions.
