2005 ANNUAL MANAGEMENT MEASURES FOR PACIFIC HALIBUT
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) announces the 2005 Annual Management Measures for Pacific Halibut on behalf of the International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC), effective February 27, 2005, according to James W. Balsiger, Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS. The Federal Register notice presents the approved 2005 annual management measures for Pacific halibut fisheries. These management measures are effective until superceded by the 2006 management measures that NMFS will publish in the Federal Register. This information bulletin only provides notice of a regulatory change. For the purposes of complying with the regulatory change, you are advised to see the actual text in the Code of Federal Regulations or text in the Federal Register notice for Pacific halibut fisheries. This notice may be viewed at the Alaska Region website under the heading 50 CFR part 300, subheading Pacific Halibut Annual Management Measures, at http://www.fakr.noaa.gov/frules/default.htm.
