arrow "NMFS Review Document. Proposal to amend regulations...", was submitted by the Council to NMFS on October 16, 2003. This document provides the proposals developed by the Council’s Steller Sea Lion Mitigation Committee (SSLMC) to change SSL protection measures in the GOA. The second document, entitled "Informal consultation on proposed amendments..." and dated January 13, 2004 is the NMFS response to the Council’s proposals. The NMFS document was reviewed by the SSLMC on January 20, 2004, and a report from this Committee was provided to the Council in February.
